Helping You with Your Amazon FBA Business

Proven Amazon Course Review & Giveaway!

What is the Proven Amazon Course?

Naturally, the Proven Amazon Course (PAC) is a course about how to sell on Amazon. ¬†ūüôā

I purchased the course back in March 2015 and am very impressed with all of the information that it contains.  I believe that every Seller of any level can benefit from the course.

It’s different than other courses / training programs because rather than it being one linear course that starts with Lesson 1 and ends with Lesson 30, it’s a compilation of numerous different Amazon courses and topics:

Proven Amazon Course Membership Screen

Peek inside of PAC. There’s more than this though!

What’s neat is that once you’re a member, you’ll have free access to new courses and materials. ¬†It usually takes several months for the new material to be added to PAC though. ¬†If the new course excites you and you want to start learning it right away, you can purchase it when it first comes out.

Though the PAC focuses on Amazon, the founder, Jim Cockrum wants us to look beyond Amazon and build up multiple income streams. ¬†This way it won’t hurt so much if your Amazon Selling career suddenly comes to an end.

Jim is very successful and genuinely cares about his students.  Meeting him at ASD was one of the highlights of my trip.

Two Mistakes that I made with PAC and Other Courses

For those of you that have been reading my blog posts, you’ll notice that I have purchased numerous courses and have constantly changed my focus over time:

April 30, 2014: Signed up as a Seller -> started with selling items around the house & thrift store finds -> focused on RA and setting up my business and bookkeeping system -> learned bundles -> went back to OA -> switched back to RA -> focused primarily on toys -> focused on shoes -> started learning wholesale & learning how to train my helper -> switched back to OA  -> 2 Year Amazon FBA Anniversary on April 30th!

Yikes, a lot of jumping around. I feel like that I know a little bit of everything, but I’m a master of none.

If I could go back in time, I would have:

  1.  Laser-Focused on only one sourcing method or strategy until I learned it well before moving on to the next.
  2. Created and documented a system that I could use to easily train a person to take over the task(s) that I mastered so that I could laser-focus on something new.

So, if you are the lucky winner or if you buy PAC on your own, I recommend that you choose one topic/course and learn it well. ¬†Try not to become overwhelmed with information overload and don’t jump from one course to the next (like I did).

Acronym of focus handwritten on real natural green background.
After doing some serious thinking, I will no longer continue with pursuing wholesale accounts at this time. ¬†My current priority is to build up my shoe inventory. ¬†Once I’m satisfied with that, then I will shift my focus back to wholesale.

PAC Giveaway Details

The Giveaway is over.  Congratulations to Karen G for winning!!

Now for the part that you’ve been waiting for… how to win a PAC Membership!

For disclosure, I didn’t purchase a 2nd copy of PAC. ¬†I actually won it last year when I entered a giveaway that was announced in Jim Cockrum’s My Silent Team Facebook group. ¬†But since I already had a copy of it, I never “redeemed” it. ¬†A few weeks ago, I emailed Jim Cockrum’s Support Team and asked if I could give away my copy to someone else. ¬†They said yes!

There are two ways to enter:

Option 1:

  1. Be a current subscriber to this blog.
  2. Leave a brief comment below and let me know which course or topic that you’re most interested in learning first.

Option 2:

  1. Like my Facebook Page.
  2. Leave a comment on the top post on my Facebook Page that announces this giveaway. ¬†Just briefly let me know which course or topic that you’re most interested in learning first.

The contest runs from April 21, 2016 to midnight eastern standard time on April 30, 2016.

On May 1st, I will randomly choose a winner from the qualified entries and contact him/her. ¬†The winner will have 48 hours to accept the giveaway otherwise I’ll select another winner.

In order to receive the PAC, you will need to provide me with your email address as I’ll need to email you the instructions to access the course.

I will announce the winner (first name only) on my Facebook Page.

I would LOVE to win this! Already doing well on Amazon but could definitely be doing better and always eager to learn more! I can see that “creating listings” would be one of my first visits in the course. I do it, but still uncomfortable with it. Ohhhh and sales tax, that’s another one I’m getting to slowly but surely. Have heard great things about this course but can’t afford it. Thank you so much for sharing the wealth! ūüôā

  • Anthony Ruffin April 21, 2016, 7:59 pm

The FBA Topic that I am interested in is most is How to Organize your FBA business for the best possible outcomes

  • Karen April 21, 2016, 8:00 pm

My current focus is becoming proficient with OA. I understand the most basic concepts but am spending too much time considering the amount of finds.

  • Susan April 21, 2016, 8:02 pm

This course looks fantastic. I’d really like to learn about online sourcing and how to do it successfully. ūüôā

  • Charbel April 21, 2016, 8:02 pm

thanks for the chance to win.

  • Adrian April 21, 2016, 8:08 pm

    Winning the Buy Box!

  • Georgiana April 21, 2016, 8:13 pm

Definitely creating a listing. I don’t know why I find it so daunting, but I do.

  • Jesse April 21, 2016, 8:18 pm

The PAC has great reviews and I’d love to learn more about many topics within the course. If I had to choose one to (laser) focus on, it would be OA.

  • Sam April 21, 2016, 8:20 pm

I have tried to do FBA myself and my inventory sat and has now been returned. I need a course to help!

I am excited by the idea of winning a getting someone to show me the way

  • Ann April 21, 2016, 8:22 pm

I would be interested in learning how to Win the Buy Box and how to use Amazon to fulfill on eBay.

  • John Brower April 21, 2016, 8:36 pm

Need help in two areas. Choosing a product that has demand and sourcing this product.

  • Jessica April 21, 2016, 8:38 pm

I’m a new seller so the beginning basics are of the most interest to me. As a mother of three, only one in school, online sourcing is my next interest!

  • LATOYA MURRAY April 21, 2016, 9:03 pm

Hi Diana, Love the site. I came across it when researching excel spreadsheets to keep track of inventory and COGS. Anyhoo, I’m most intrrested in finding profitable inventory. Thanks for the giveaway!*fingers crossed*

  • Amy April 21, 2016, 9:07 pm

I am just about to dive into restricted categories and creating listings for items not yet available in Amazon. I am the type of person who prefers to learn as I go and pay for lessons, but I have heard great things about PAC and I know it would save time to have helpful guidelines to refer to along the way. Taxes are also very daunting, I need a step-by-step guide! Thanks for the chance to win an awesome prize! Good luck to me ūüôā

  • Daniela April 21, 2016, 9:41 pm

    Hello Diana,
I am glad about this opportunity because it is some months I am thinking about PAC but right now my finances do not help me! I need help in everything but I would focus in RA and creating new listing! Thanks for the opportunity and Good Luck everybody ūüėČ

  • Arlene April 21, 2016, 10:08 pm

I’ve only been selling with fba for about a month but I’ve actually lost money on some items so I definitely need to focus on how to source inventory. This course sounds like a great learning opportunity! Thanks for offering it

  • Phebe April 21, 2016, 10:27 pm

Hmm…which topic am I most interested in learning first. Online arbitrage? Coffee Master Class? Can I have two firsts ūüôā

I think your path of focus is like most new sellers, try a lot of different things to see what clicks. I don’t see it as a mistake. The fact that you’ve jumped in and tried some of these methods and services that I’ve only been “thinking about trying” is one of the reasons I enjoy reading your blog.

  • Oanh nguyen April 21, 2016, 11:17 pm

I’d love to learn about OA as I think it fits better with my current situation than other method. Thank you for sharing your FBA journey. I’ve learned a lot from it. Are you focusing on OA to build up your shoe inventory? I heard there are wholesale sources for shoes as well.

    • Diana April 22, 2016, 12:11 am

      Hi Oanh,
Yes, I do both RA and OA with shoes, but I need to step it up more with online arbitrage. I found some shoe wholesalers at ASD, but I’m not working with any of them at this time.

  • Paula April 21, 2016, 11:22 pm

I have considered buying PAC but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Winning this would get me off the couch, and on to bigger and better things! I have been selling on Amazon for 7 months and with working full time, have a hard time finding extra hours in the day to source and ship. I would love to learn how to put together a sourcing team to take care of the everyday items. Thank you for this opportunity!

  • Sid April 21, 2016, 11:57 pm

Thank you for the opportunity. I’ve seen this course offered, but have not taken it. I would be interested first in the bundling course. I’ve heard that it is good to do that in order to set your items apart, but am not really comfortable getting started with it.

  • Ali April 22, 2016, 12:14 am

I really would love to win this. I’ll be interested in the Bundling course;)
By the way, congrats on your second anniversary!

  • Lynn April 22, 2016, 1:48 am

Would be ECSTATIC TO WIN!!!!! Awe…… As a newbie I’m like a sponge and want to know everything. How about where to begin, how to open seller account would be my first interest!!!

  • Josh April 22, 2016, 10:27 am

I really want to learn more about bundling. Thank you, Diana for what you do! Your site has been a big help so far in my journey!

  • Dawn April 22, 2016, 1:28 pm

Hi Diana Рthank you so much for sharing all your knowledge with us all on your blog. I have found it to be so helpful in my learning curve as I’m a newbie. I also find it incredible generous of you to make this offer of PAC. What I would want to look at the most would be online sourcing. I have joined David Penley FB page and have found it to be incredibly full of Intel both from David and the other sellers.

  • Jeanne April 22, 2016, 3:03 pm

Hoping to win! Would love to learn more about wholesale or private labeling!

  • Ree Klein April 23, 2016, 12:17 am

    Hi Diana,

Doing this giveaway is super generous. You could have given it to a friend but instead you are giving your readers a chance at getting the course for free. Nice! After having seen Jim Cockrum’s keynote presentation in Vegas, I can attest to the fact that he delivers quality content.

I’d be most interested in hearing the topic on $5 to $50k with Brett Bartlett. I can’t seem to break the $2k/month threshold!

  • Heidi Preusser April 23, 2016, 3:52 pm

Hi!! Just started with FBA and would SOOOOO love to win this to learn everything I possibly can!!

  • Ingrid April 23, 2016, 4:20 pm

  • Tiffany April 26, 2016, 12:38 am

Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to get PAC! I have looked into it, but have not bought it yet. I am one month into Amazon. I have been doing MF, but shipped out my first FBA box today! I have only sold $85 in the last month, so I definitely want to focus on rankings and what I should and should not buy to sell. Thank you so much and congratulations on your anniversary!

  • Wes April 26, 2016, 12:58 pm

Thanks Diana, for the opportunity the very powerful PAC! I enjoy reading your articles.

  • Detlef April 26, 2016, 8:01 pm

I want to know something more about which is the best way for oversea sellers to participate with FBA, how I can do OA in US and organise everything from A to Z.

  • Fred Higgins April 27, 2016, 1:09 am

Interested in course for adding OA to RA.

  • Valerie Belding April 27, 2016, 4:55 pm

I have certainly considered buying PAC, but have never been able to promise myself to dedicate the right amount of time to it (that I know it offers!)

Would love to learn more about building a sourcing team.

    Congrats on your “FBA-versary”!

  • Michal April 28, 2016, 9:34 pm

What I need is the motivation to get started with FBA! Fear of failure, taxes and just finding the right products to send in are my major concerns. The PAC course would certainly help get me headed down the right path. BTW! I love your blog posts. They are so honest and interesting to see how you have become successful selling on Amazon. Keep up the good work. You are my inspiration!

  • Fatima April 29, 2016, 3:10 am
