Fantastic article. If you don’t mind my asking what is the average number of shoes that you send in each month and what percentage profit or sales are shoes for your amazon store? I’m trying to raise my asp and go deeper into shoes. I’m about to branch into OA fairly significantly as I’m having trouble finding shoe inventory locally.
    Thank you,
    Neila

      Hi Neila,
I’m still a small-volume seller and I send in about 80-90 shoes per month. I need to trust myself to go deeper on the shoes since most of what I buy sells. Goal is to start buying 400 shoes per month by doing more sourcing and going deeper on what I do buy.

Shoes make up 75% of my sales and average profit is $30.00 each.

When I started doing shoes, I was half RA and half OA. Now I’m about 95% OA and 5% RA. I buy over a 3rd of my shoes from Amazon and do Amazon flips.

I send all of my OA shoes to Pacific Prep for them to process. This frees me up to work on other projects during the day.

Good luck with shoes and let me know if you any other questions.

    Hi Diana,
Does the fee listed include the prep fee? Or just Amazon fees? Thanks!

      Just the Amazon fees.

I track my prep center fees and all other expenses separately in my Profit and Loss statement. So, before I buy any shoes, I make sure that the profit can cover the prep center fee.
