Video: Print to Your DYMO 450 with Scan & Label

Hi everyone!  A few months ago, I showed you how to print to your DYMO 450 Printer using Scan & Label.  It’s very easy to do so and I just created my first YouTube video to show you how!

Here’s the video:

Information About the Book in the Video

I’m pretty excited about the profit that I made from the book that’s featured in the video.  Here’s the info behind it:

Name: Fundamentals of Taxation 2015 (Accounting)

Purchase Date: June 30, 2016
Date Sold: August 12, 2016
Purchased From: Amazon Merchant Fulfilled Seller.  I used eFLIP to find the book.

YouTube Videos

I’m going to do more YouTube videos in the future.  Right now, I’m a “newbie” at it, so please be patient while I learn how it works.   Also, there are no fancy banner graphics, music or anything like that.  It’ll take some time before I learn how to add those in.

I appreciate any support or feedback that you give me.  You can always reach me by using the comment form below or on my Facebook page.  Also, I would love it if you subscribed to my YouTube Channel!

Is it possible to print more than one label at a time? Like the entire shipment?

      Hi Samantha,

You can print the entire shipment if you: 1) Use a laser printer with Seller Central or if you subscribe to ListLabelShip for your DYMO printing.

Using Scan & Label with your DYMO only prints one SKU at a time.

I don’t think that the Scan & Label method with your DYMO is the most efficient method, but it’s a free method!

    Diana-

    Awesome post!

After spending 5 hours yesterday trying to get my Dymo to work this post was just what I needed!

I am hoping you can help me work through a couple of continued problems….
    1. Using Scan & List, none of the barcodes I type in, or copy and paste or scan in with barcode scanner bring up any listings in Seller central. These are items I have sold before or I have double checked by “adding a product” the 30 up print way.

I am sending in 300-500 items each shipment and really wanted to label as I listed to hep my workflow.

    2. After being frustrated beyond belief I paid for listlabelship. I did get all drivers up and running went to print first item using my scanner and the label was sent to the print que but never printed….after an additional hour of waiting.

I am beyond stressed trying to figure this out! 🙂 I would prefer to use Seller central. Any words of wisdom?

    Thanks!
    K

    Hi Kennie,

Setting up your DYMO to print inside of Seller Central is always a challenging task. I wish that Amazon didn’t make it so hard.

I hate to say it though, but it seems that you’re doing everything right so I’m not sure why it’s not printing. I just tested printing to the DYMO using Scan & Label both in Chrome and Firefox. As long as your item is in your inventory it should pull up once you enter the barcode or Merchant SKU.

When you enter yours, does Amazon give you any type of message?

I’m sure what’s up with ListLabelShip either. It’s been a long time since I used it but it should print immediately to your DYMO without any waiting. Sometimes my DYMO quits working so I have to unplug it and plug it back in.

Let me know what comes up after you enter your barcode or Merchant SKU and hopefully we can figure out what’s going on.

    Diana-

Thank you so much for your help. I solved the scanning issue, however the Dymo 450 is another issue.

I can get to a print preview – hit print and nothing. Same when I use listlabelship. I get an error that says unable to print & status is Error – Printing.

Hoping you may have some thoughts! As always, thank you!

    Diana,

Are you still using the HouseLabels? I have been hearing of users having problems with the labels and switching to the more expensive Dymo branded labels. Any problems on your end? Also, I wanted to know if there’s a reason you use the 30334-R labels rather than the 30252 1-1/8″x3-1/2″ which seem closer in size to the Avery address labels.

      Hi Phebe,

I’m floating between the HouseLabels brand and the Online Labels brand. I started testing Online Labels and they work fine. However, I still have another roll of DYMO labels to finish up on.

I haven’t had any issues with either brand and recommend both. However, the Online Labels brand is less expensive than the House Labels if you buy their 4-pack. The cost of Online Label’s 4-pack w/shipping is $23.90 where two of the HouseLabels rolls are $25.76.

I started with the 30334 size because that’s what was recommended to me when I first purchased my DYMO. I never had any reason to look for another size.

Thanks for telling me about the Online Labels brand. That is quite a difference in price. I checked out their website and they also carry the smaller size label I had been looking for AND they are also removable. The shipping is very reasonable and it’s only $1 extra to ship the 2nd item.

Agree, their prices are much better and like I said, I haven’t had any issues with their #30334 label.
