Happy Father’s Day! Here is a picture of my Dad and me when I was much younger. He’s almost 80 now and still going strong with golfing and dancing almost everyday! I plan on flying down to Arizona to visit him in September.
One thing that I do for him every year is make a 12-month picture calendar for him using Snapfish. It’s a great inexpensive gift that he loves.
It’s never too late to make a calendar – but make sure you go through Ebates first. I just checked and today (6/19/16) you can earn 10% back on your Snapfish purchases!
Now on to the main topic….What I sold!
What I Sold – a Tool
In my last two “What I Sold” posts, I featured shoes. So far, 77.39% of this month’s sales came from the shoe category:
Shoes are great but I also like to keep a stash of Sears tools in my inventory. They don’t expire, go out of style and they do sell. I’ve sold wrenches, multimeters, screwdriver sets and even sold these pink pliers.
When you stack your Sears online purchases with Ebates and ShopYourWay points, you can sometimes purchase tools for a low buy cost. You can learn about one of my better Sears tool purchases in this blog post: How I bought a $39.99 NEW Item for $3.63.
Last Item Shipped
One of my Sears tool purchases was my last item shipped. Below is a screenshot of it in my Payment->Transactions page as proof:
Store Purchased: Sears (Online Arbitrage with store pickup in Portland to save on shipping and sales tax.)
Date Received at Amazon Warehouse: 04/27/16
Date Amazon Shipped to Customer: 06/18/16
Number Of Days at Amazon: 52
Buy Cost: I used free Shop Your Way Points to pay for part of it:
- Sears Price (on sale): $21.84
- Partial Payment with Shop Your Way Points Worth $6.14
- Final Buy Price of $15.70
Selling Price: $31.99
Net Profit after Fees: $31.99 (sale price) – $8.87 (fees) – $15.70 (buy cost) = $7.42
Category: Home Improvement
Ranking on 06/19/16: 163,504
Category % According to RevSeller: Top 2%
Hmm, interesting, RevSeller calculated a 12% Referral Fee but I was actually charged 15% by Amazon.
I hope you enjoy these “What I Sold Posts.” As always, be sure to ask me any questions or leave a comment in the form below or on my Facebook page.
Have a great day,
p.s. The other day, Caleb Roth sent a note to his blog subscribers and he said that the cost of his Tracking Spreadsheet is going up to $120.00 on July 1! If you’re interested in purchasing it, make sure you do so before the end of the month.
